Description

Also called Walnut Hills Cemetery as the farm itself is called Walnut Hills. Over the years, the Kemper burial site had grown over with weeds and brush to the extent of being unrecognizable. Several years ago, members of SCV Camp 19 cleaned up the site, planted shrubs and trees and built a sturdy white picket fence around Gen. Kemper’s grave as well as the graves of other family members. The tombstones were refurbished and are now readable. It is not open to the public.
