Description

Cemetery is in a cultivated field (hay) currently (2019) owned by DownTime Ranch, LLC. Directions: In Edison, follow State Road 216N 1/3 mile to County Road 30 (Wayback Road). Go 2/5 miles to County Road 28 (Ford Road)(just past Wayback Inn - now derelict). Go one-half (.5) mile. Road turns right, go straight on field road. Cemetery is to your left about 50-100 yards from field road and is marked by four wooden fence posts. Easily found after hay has been cut and baled. Somewhat overgrown. Land formerly owned by Arlen Eubanks, and before that by Joseph T. Manry. The Manry and Saxon families intermarried at various times. This land was part of Samuel Cowles Saxon's property (250 acres in Calhoun County and 150 acres in Randolph County)according to deeds, plats and estate appraisment.
